Explore how an animator can use the visual style of a character to inform movement, and investigate how illustration techniques and drawing styles can be implemented in creating a short character animation.

 To review and evaluate character illustration methods and the connotations of visual style in terms of movement

To review and critically analyse examples of recent adaptations from illustration to animation, and explore how movement can be suggested through visual style

To conduct practice based research into the relationship between the visual style and movement in character animation

To produce and evaluate a short character animation adapted from an original illustration
